Who we are
topclosers.club is run by Frederick Mitchell ("Fred"), a sole trader based in Greece. Fred is the "data controller" for the personal data described here, which means he decides how it's used and is responsible for protecting it.

What we collect
When you apply to join the waitlist, we collect what you enter in the application form:
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile and any other social profiles you choose to share.
- Background: where you're based, the languages you sell in, your sales experience, your employment status, your current employer and role, and what you sell.
- Earnings and performance: revenue you've produced, current earnings and earnings goals (as ranges).
- Goals and development: your personal goals, challenges, skills you want to improve, strengths, weaknesses, why you want to join, and how you heard about us.
Please don't include sensitive information (for example about health, religion or politics) in your answers. We don't need it.
If you email us, we also keep that correspondence.
Why we use it
- To review your application and decide whether you're a fit for the club.
- To contact you about your application by email, phone or WhatsApp, including sending a link to book a discovery call.
- To prepare for that call, so the coaching we propose suits your situation.
We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't add you to a marketing list.
Our legal basis
- Taking steps at your request before a possible agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)): you ask to join, and we need your answers to assess that.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): you tick a box agreeing to be contacted by email, phone or WhatsApp. You can withdraw this at any time by emailing us.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of trusted services to run the website and the waitlist. They only process your data on our instructions.
| Service | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Tally (Tally BV) | Runs the application form and stores your answers | EU (Belgium) |
| Proton (Proton AG) | Our email provider: sends and receives email, including application notifications | Switzerland |
| Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) | Cookie-free website analytics: counts page visits | USA / worldwide |
| Railway | Hosts this website; keeps short-term technical logs such as IP addresses | USA / EU |
Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as giving personal data an adequate level of protection. Where data is processed elsewhere outside the European Economic Area, it's protected by the safeguards GDPR requires, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
If you don't join, we keep your application for up to 12 months, in case a place opens up, then delete it. If you do join, we keep it for as long as you're a member and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- get a copy of the data we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it's wrong;
- have it deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time.
Email fred@topclosers.club and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or the data protection authority in the country where you live.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser.
This website itself sets no cookies. Our fonts are stored on our own server, so nothing is loaded from Google or other third parties when you browse.
The application form on the Waitlist page is provided by Tally. Tally may store a small amount of information in your browser that's needed for the form to work. It isn't used for advertising. See Tally's privacy information.
Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where they come from (for example the referring website, country and type of device). It sets no cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't identify you personally. We use it because we have a legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used so we can improve it.
Links to other sites, such as LinkedIn, are covered by those sites' own privacy policies.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
